About Samia
Samia's Mediterranean Gourmet has been family owned and operated since 2002. Formerly Samia created dishes for Grand Gourmet; she took a hiatus to be with family and is now re-establishing her catering business known as Samia's Mediterranean Gourmet. With the help of her wonderful husband Magdy, she is able to create delectable treats and dishes. The possibilities are endless. All of her dishes are preservative free and are made with natural ingredients. Do not worry; the taste has not been sacrificed!
Samia's passion is cooking; she has been cooking her whole life. God blessed her with a talent for making wonderful dishes that can be enjoyed by all. Samia loves to share her passion by teaching others how to make wonderful dishes. During her hiatus, she continued to teach cooking classes (for over 20 years now) through Okemos Community Education. The classes, which have always been a big hit with the students, include instruction in desserts, hors d'ourves, vegetarian dishes, soups and casseroles.
